Free Smoke Alarms

Statistics show that working smoke alarms save lives and reduce injuries and property damage due to home fires.  The American Red Cross has launched a nationwide campaign to reduce the number of deaths, injuries and damage due to home fires by 25 percent in the next five years.

Throughout western Pennsylvania communities, the local Red Cross is visiting homes to offer free smoke alarms to homeowners.

If your home does not have a working smoke alarm, call the Red Cross in Washington and Greene Counties at 724-350-1827.

In case of Fire, remember to GET OUT, STAY OUT AND CALL 911.
